This brave, inspirational boy fell sick just before his eighth birthday and was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Complications following surgery to remove the tumour meant that Connor was unable to move or speak for seven long months, and four years later he is still working on his rehabilitation.
His mum Karen was with him in Auckland throughout his initial rehab, while his little sisters and dad cheered him on from their home in Christchurch as Connor pushed tirelessly to get his body working again.
The people they’ve encountered along the way and the incredible positive power of Camp Quality has been a ray of sunshine in their storm, says Karen.
Connor has loved being part of two camps and got to enjoy the most recent camp in January with his best mate, Ryan.
Connor, you’re a little legend and we have absolutely no doubt you’ll move mountains!
