On the 26th of January, shortly after the Wellington/Central Districts Summer Camp, a car wash fundraiser was organised by WorleyParsons New Zealand to raise funds for next year’s camp!
With over 15 WorleyParsons volunteers and support from our Taranaki based Camp Quality Companions, over $1,400 was raised on the day.
The sun was shining, sausages sizzling and the soap suds flying, as car upon car drove through.
Due to the great success of the day, WorleyParsons New Zealand decided to add additional funds to get the grand total to over $2,000 for Camp Quality Wellington Central Districts.
Special thanks to:
- WorleyParsons New Zealand for their support, initiative and volunteers on the day
- The Taranaki Companions Fundraising Group for their assistance on the day
- St Andrews Presbyterian Church for supplying their car park and water for the day
- Countdown Spotswood for providing all the food for the sausage sizzle
- Repco New Plymouth for supplying all the carwash supplies free of charge
