Former Otago cricketer, and Camp Quality Companion, Nick Beard has talked some of his old team-mates into shaving their heads for Camp Quality.
Nick, who played 35 first-class games for Otago between 2009 and 2015, has set up a web page to raise $3000 for Camp Quality New Zealand.
"I have teamed up with five of the lads from the Otago Volts — Hamish Rutherford, Mark Craig, Jimmy Neesham, Brad Wilson and Christi Viljoen. "We will be shaving our heads at the top of Baldwin St ... for the cause."
A date has yet to be confirmed, sometime in November, due to the availability of the players.
