On 11 February a team of 11 companions and staff travelled to Westport to participate in the 2017 Buller Marathon to help raise funds for Camp Quality Christchurch. We were also joined on the day by the Murphy family from Greymouth who helped with bucket shaking and promoting Camp Quality. Pyper and Tasja both also completed the Junior run. Eight of the team completed the half marathon and 1 glutton for punishment completed the full marathon.
At this stage we have raised nearly $7,500. A great deal of thanks must go to Dennis Straker and the Trust that organise this amazing event for their wonderful support of Camp Quality.
Camp Quality Christchurch is confirmed as the charity partner for the Buller Marathon in 2018 too, so get training!
